Back from a year in Iraq. Got a parchment pickguard on order, with a set of black mustang pickup covers and a set of fancy knobs on the way as well.

Happy NGD! Did you get her from Frets near Blackpool? It could be my old Jag.... If so, glad she has a good home.

I'd rock it. Did you make the whole pickguard yourself or mod an existing one?

I've not had a chance to get my hands on a squier cyclone yet, but I've got a MiM cyclone hh and I love it. I'd buy a cyclone II in an instant if one came up locally.... Be it fender or squier.

She's looking good. Loving the pickguard... I'm toying with converting my HH to three single coils :-)

My duo's spacing of the holes on the headstock is a little less than a strat, so the usual MiM tuners wouldn't fit in. I fou...

There's so many variables in lighting, situation, camera set up and guitar condition. Fender probably had a subtley different colour of daphne blue every time a new gun full was mixed up. What I do know is that the HH was straight out of the box, hung up in a real alladins cave of a shop with not mu...

Must admit I thought it was Daphne Blue. Did they get made in Sonic Blue as well? I don't mind which it is, it's great as it is. Can't wait to pick it up!

Brand new Fender Cyclone

Maybe the last one? This one isn't available any more as I snapped it up this afternoon. It's going to get fresh strings, fretboard oiled and a setup before I pick it up. More pics soon.

I pick her up in a couple of weeks. Possibly the last brand new Fender Cyclone left?

Hey Das, don't know if you've seen it but Moon Guitars in Glasgow have a 75 MM available. I've no affiliation with them, apart from once having a play on a Moon in a shop in Shetland. He makes some good guitars, but also has a page on his website with vintage guitars for sale.

But that's why I'm still pulling for OP to get the Cyclone HH. Seems like part of the reason this board exists is for people who are into guitars with a little more character and that are less common. While JMs fit that bill too, they're a bit easier to find at this point. Nothing quite beats havin...

Just been to the dealer. The cyclone is still there, but the love isn't. Maybe if it was fitted with the three avri pickups I'd definitely go for it. So anyway, I'm sticking with the squier, and should be picking it up early next week. If anyone wants to know where this cyclone is, I can't advertise...

Quick update... The stock tuners have been binned and replaced by a set of six on a strip Klusons. The wiring has been completely redone... I replaced the wiring on the pickups, twisted them as recommended and redid everything according to the Seymour Duncan wiring schematic in the Wiki. It's got a ...

I've been on eBay for a few years, and in that time I've bought and sold all sorts of stuff. But in the past year I have barely touched it. I've been fecked about so often by buyers, had stuff either 'go missing' or just not turn up, and then had my PayPal account hacked a couple of times. Down in t...

I'm going down the store later today with the last instalment of the balance on the JM. I'll make up my mind then if I'm going to switch to the cyclone, and wait another month while I pay off the difference.
