A few photo updates.....

So last update I received is that the neck now fits. Body and headstock are being prepped for painting. Probably be the end of June before I get the completed guitar back. Can't wait.

Oh man. Struggling with the colour. Finding it hard not to order Burgandy Mist. Require a slap.

I went for a Toronado bridge. My guitar guy reckons he can do the work to fix the neck pocket issue, so it should all be good. Going to go with shell pink. It's an oddball guitar, so I think it will suit it.

I think I now have everything to make this happen. Time to get in touch with my guitar guy, and to make this happen....

The 6 in a row is too short. Just doesn't line up. Think I need 6 individuals.

Anyone any idea where I could get machine heads that look period correct for this in the UK?
I got a set of 6 in a row Klusons with the plastic, but they don't fit.

Where did you get that neck? eBay If it's really close then just sand equally on each side of the neck pocket until it slides down into place. Necks have standard heel sizes but they don't take into account for the finish on a neck. Some finishes are thicker than others. My Swinger neck pock templa...
