Re: Mustang Vibrato Guides?
Where are your springs currently set on your Mustang Vibrato? Puisheen recommending leaving them on the first setting like my Partscaster for .10s. I've tried the middle and lowest tensions, but still don't get much stability with 10s, and the cigar is definitely leaning back still. I've actually s...

Mustang Vibrato Guides?
Anyone know of any decent guides on how to get the vibrato set up well. Shimming, setting bridge and cigar height, what post section to use for 10s etc?
There’s obviously the pruishen one for the Jag Stang but it isn’t massively detailed in parts.

Re: SQUIER FSR CV LATE '60S JAZZ BASS MODS
Modern clear coats tend to be acrylic rather than what people think as poly. Here’s the thing, if the headstock is gloss, and you want to paint the headstock with the potential of return it to stock, you could mask the sides, key the face with 600 wet and dry and then shoot a couple of layers of glo...

Re: NGD: Lady Hurb bought me a guitar for Christmas
I think euan has a whole wax potting set up for waxing bicycle chains. Probably the same thing for pickups. Yeah a slow cooker with a paraffin and PTFE mix. You put the wax in the slow cooker, turn it on and the wax melts. You use it however you need and leave it in the slow cooker to solidify. The...

Usual spaz about how he has been collecting the transistors for years and testing them all to get the correct leakage for Q2(I think)
And by comparison a Macari's or DAM TB is three times the price.
Anyway where is the new fucking Meatball.

Re: Boss RE-2 Space Echo
I'd be surprised, the upper limit is that the RE-20 was £250 in the end which is way more than I paid for mine back when it came out. I think I paid £125.
Most expensive non Waza is £190. Would be insane charging 200 series prices.

I'm gonna play with some Drivemaster pedals. Well, I'm gonna make some Drivemaster pedals.
And build some parallel mixer boxes to do some more interesting things with delays, reverbs and dirt.
