Thanks for the extra input guys. I'm not going for it, mainly because of the reasons you stated. It's just too much of a risk/cost for something that isn't even entirely true vintage. The smaller 22.5 neck is actually a turn off for me. I didn't realize the scale size at first.

I'm still debating whether I should pull the plug or not :?

Edit: Skipping on it.

What gets me is that it looks like a complete parts guitar... I'm not sure how many Japanese jaguar parts are actually on it. The whole thing looks like a repainted white HH Classic player... pushed up trem / bridge... which he says he fitted. Owned since 2004 ? They weren't made that early were th...

Thanks for the input everyone. You guys are awesome.

DGNR8, I'm kinda decent at fixing things with guitars. I was told the cracks weren't very deep at all which is a good thing.

Is this vintage Mustang legit?

Hi everyone, I'm interested in a vintage Mustang on eBay, but I'm not sure if it's real or not. Figured there's no better place to ask than here. Here's the link (please don't steal it from me : :( ): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-Fender-Mustang-guitar-project-21-fret-/271175130667?pt=Guitar&hash...

I need a firebird in my life. One day I will have one in my collection. Great color by the way. It's usually always sunburst that people choose.

I do all my recording with my Saffire 6 usb. For a mic, I use is an MXL 990/991 and then I run it all through pro tools which came free with the saffire. I have the option of recording straight through the saffire, but I don't know, I've always preferred hearing stuff recorded from a real amp.

Very nice! I don't understand why Fender keeps messing with the vintage trem placement. Every time I'm interested in new jaguars or jazzmasters, the movement of the trem unit just turns me off completely.
