not particularly interested in funk actually, i don't suppose chords are really something i have in mind when looking for a compressor. and assuming i have some extra money to spend, do you guys know any compressors by malekko/earthquaker devices? (discontinued pedals are welcome)

the annoying thing about the dyna comp is all the demos are dedicated to country musicians and frankly i don't care about chickin pickin and it would save me a trip to the city to hear it from people who've tried it if it can do more than that or if it's a 1-trick-pony

the marshall edward looks p sleek, but the pro of the dyna comp is that i wouldn't have to worry about attack time which i think is kinda superfluous. idk how much each of them costs, im assuming the dyna comp hovers around 80 bucks and the marshall a little higher? also i may have expressed myself ...

good compressor pedals for lead tonez

i've been meaning to get a decent compressor to get that fat rich lead blues guitar sound, strong enough to mimic a tubescreamer, but not quite a tubescreamer (TS's always felt really cliche to me, it would feel like a waste of money) and i was keeping an eye on the dyna comp from mxr because there ...

i actually never had any problems with d'addarios, they sound like they should, feel smooth and strong, stay fresh for long enough and hardly ever break. i mean i broke lots of strings when i was still a noob but i tuned 1 1/2 steps up because i didnt have a capo  . the price has never been an...

i dont have any big problems with intonation in terms of scale, i was just wondering if they break tuning after bending them once, like brand new strings. i also kinda like the string buzz, it makes it feel more real i guess. but less string-sounding strings may be interesting? unfortunately they do...

im just trying to get used to lighter strings. i dont guess strings can really have a lot of character even if they're d'addario (of course they can have loads of redeeming qualities to the player, string tension, stay in tune, feel smoother, or sound brighter or fuller etc) but regardless i might b...

rotosound strings vs d'addario strings

has anyone here used rotosound strings? usually i would exclusively play d'addario, i've wanted to try their 10.5 - 48 nickelwound set but i cant find it in stores, and my mom isn't big on online shopping. i found roto reds (11 - 48 ) at a store though, and i've heard these are the strings the membe...

also about selling your current pedal, i don't think most people would pay two cents for a broken pedal? i say you start dealing cocaine for a couple weeks til you have $150 saved up and just buy a new one. also, the boss RV-5 has all settings on the hardwire except for reverse, and it costs $170, b...

alright so i did some very light search on the tenor range and apparently it's between C3 and C5 so basically a simple C chord (the note you hold with your index is middle C, the one you hold with your ring finger is C3, so if you held B on the 13th fret you'd get C5) and for exercises you can just ...
