You apparently knew what I was talking about. The nomenclature /64th is used as reference and a common measurement while performing fretwork to analyze string action. Obviously you can reduce the fraction to it's lowest common denominator. Now ask yourself this question and think about it before ans...

Re: More work.

Time to do more work on my Duo-Sonic.
1.) Radius will be changed to a much flatter 16 inch.
2.) Frets will be replaced with real Jumbos 110 width by 57 height.
3.) I will remove the polyurethane from neck and give it a hand rubbed oil finish.

Finished my Duosonic humbucker build

My humbucker build is finished. The guitar has 2 Suhr Doug Aldrich humbuckers in it along with a coil tap.

I have decided to go with 2 full size humbuckers. Both of them will be Suhr Doug Aldrich pickups. Output is 17.5 bridge and 9.5 neck. I will be routing both slots to spread the pickups farther apart just until I get to the harmonic sweet spot.

Tremolo.

You could always put a tremolo on one. Personally if I were put one in it would be a Floyd Rose or Schaller type.

I just received the Duo Sonic.

http://img4.imagetitan.com/img4/small/8/8_duo.jpg I just received the Duo sonic. My first impressions are that this is a solid feeling guitar especially when comparing it to my 1966 Musicmaster II. It has a suprisingly nice neck. The guitar has a nice tone unplugged. It has a ring or resonance to i...

Newmember project.

Hi. I 'm new to this forum and starting up a Squier Classic Vibe Duo-Sonic project. I have a 1966 Musicmaster II that I modified about 25 years ago with a Seymour Duncan JB in the Bridge and a Hotrails in the neck. I absolutely love the neck on my Musicmaster II and was hoping to accomplish some sim...
