I went for a pair of Bare Knuckle Blue Notes for mine as well as Faber bridge, iNserts, and tailpiece with the locking posts. The brass saddles and firm fit work a treat and the pups are stunning!

Not really sure as this will count as guitar porn, you caught me giving the old girl (young girl?) a spa treatment while i await the Staytrem! http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z207/spencerlocker/Guitars/file_zps967b592f.jpg This is my desk at work (it's a bit quiet and my office is tucked away) ht...

Well, i went over this weekend and pulled the trigger! I had the control plates off and had a look at the pots but they just seem to have the pot values printed on them, no dates at all so no way of dating it there. The finger board is as dry, the frets are a little dirty and the strings are old and...

Is there any reason that it would matter? I don;t mean to sound facetious, but if it plays and sounds good, and is in good nick, snap it up! Not facetious at all bud, I do intend to buy but hell, if i'm going to drop my wad on a guitar, i'd like to know what i'm buying! I'm a member of other forums...

Due to work commitments, i'll not be able to get to see it again until the weekend so i can't take pictures but i'll see if my bud can send some over in the mean time. The binding looks to be aged and yellowing which would lead me to think it's a 90's model but it is almost spotless with no dinks, d...

A vastly underated guitar, i know i'm in a minority here but these were great guitars when the came out back in '04-'06. Still are though i have'nt played one of the new versions yet. Does anyone know if the new ones are string through? The only thing i did'nt like about the originals was the bridge...

I like Telecasters. My head would say the basic standard would be the best one, but my heart made me choose these: http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z207/spencerlocker/Guitars/file_zps615e8a6f.jpg a '99 USA Deluxe in natural Ash and tortie binding (Kinman AVN-60 pups) and a '12 Cabronita (TV Jones ...

MIJ Jaguar '66 Reissue 'Block and Bound' question

Hi there, first post so go easy on me please! I've got the opportunity to get me a '66 Reissue block and bound Jaguar. I've lusted after one for as long as i can remember and now an opportunity has arisen. The thing is, it's MIJ (not CIJ) and the serial number is T+ six digits. Now, as i understand ...
