I'm sure it sounds totally different Actually there's quite a difference in sound with the G100 and the AVT50. The tube in the avt helps out a lot Anyways the amp should be arriving on Wednesday or thursday, so I'm pretty excited for it. I ended out getting the combo since it was cheaper than the h...

I got the Gotoh style 14:1 tuners from Guitar Fetish Standard wiring, 2 500k pots, 3 way toggle, and ...

For cheap solid state tonez I'd be looking at a Roland Cube but I think you'd be doing well to get one that cheap.
I like Roland cubes a lot for their gain channel and effects, but I'm not a huge fan of their clean

New Amp - Marshall G100R-CD

So my old solid state crate amp finally died, and I was on Craigslist looking for something to hold me up for a little while, and I saw a Marshall G100R head for sale. The seller was asking $100, but he agreed to drop the price to $80 Is this amp decent? I really don't have a good budget right now, ...

Thanks for the posts guys So first of all, no I didn't carve the "Alex" on the back, and I'm looking to get a sticker or something to put on the back. I did some research and I found out it's the Standard series one with the Conversion neck. I found a store that sells the pickguards for $2...

I actually saw one of these exact same guitars with basically the same mods, sell on eBay for about $330, so it's a bummer

Modded Squier Mustang for $250, Good deal?

Here's the link http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/msg/4685232269.html So I was looking to buy a used japanese Mustang, and I found a couple red ones on eBay for around $400, but I later saw this on craigslist. I was planning getting a used Duncan Hot Rail for $40 and upgrading the pots for $20, but...
