Mustang Switches and Wiring Help
Hey all! I was wondering if anyone had any input on this? Can't seem to find a good answer anywhere. I want to put a P Rails in the bridge and either a Vintage or Cool Rails in the neck of my Jag-Stang. I want to install a 3-way switch for standard pickup switching but wanted to repurpose the slider...

I'm guessing OP wants to use the output from his TC G-System so he can just select his patch on the G-System and it will automatically switch channel on both amps along with engaging whatever effect. (The Behringer FCB1010 MIDI pedal has two relay outs you can program for each preset). Indeed! That...

Amp switching relay
Hey! So I'm considering running 2 different amps together in stereo. Both are 2 channels with single button footswitches, but I know I can't just use a Y cable to connect them. I use the footswitch output on my TC G System to switch channels currently and I've looked into it and everyone says that a...

Active Pickup Recommendations
Hey guys. So I just got one of the new Gibson RD guitars (NGD post coming soon). I've never been a huge fan of active pickups, but the Gibson GEM pickups in this thing sound SO good. I may not even do it, but I'm considering putting active pickups in my other guitar as well because of these. Ideally...

Sounds just like a Jazz Bass. No real difference there. The vintage ones sounded different. Beefier and more aggressive. Listen to Bleach. Krist used one on that record. Kinda wish Ibanez had remade the pickups too. The neck is between a Jazz and P Bass. The vintage one I had was a baseball bat so I...

I got a fine tipped white out pen and injected it into the inlays on the pickguard. Up close it's rough, but whatever.
Can't get the damn picture to post...

Well... Looks like I'm just gonna have to live with the colored in scroll work on the face of the pickguard. I started using cotton balls damp with alcohol and the black top layer of the pickguard started to melt... Not sure what the hell it's made of but it's not regular pickguard material. Luckily...

Removing Sharpie from a pickguard
Hey guys. I just got a used Ibanez Black Eagle. The guy I got it from decided the pickguard looked too "pimp" and colored all the inlays and the clear back part with a freaking black Sharpie... I looked up ways to remove it and it seems easy but I don't know if any of the methods will scre...

.... and here's the back of the headstock on the black Bullet Mustang that I posted pics of earlier in this thread. http://i67.tinypic.com/fw3dxv.jpg Original tuners were probably horrible, right? What'd you wind up using? I'm looking at some Kluson style (white knob) from WD. Looks like what you u...

Changing scale
Hey guys. You're probably getting tired of all my project idea posts... Haha Got another one. Should be an easy answer though! Just can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for online somehow... Just found out about the Squier Bullet Mustangs. I'm very intrigued and want to buy one to mod the cra...
