Squier Mustang Bridge Options
I have a squier vintage modified mustang that I've turned into a killer guitar- I replaced the tremolo springs with new much stiffer springs from allparts, replaced the nut with a tusq xl- replaced electronics. The tuners are fine with the new springs and nut. But i'd really like to upgrade the brid...

Squier Bass VI or Baritone
I know this is the opposite of a short scale post heh but I'm curious... I'd like to get a baritone of some sort and I really like the squier Bass VI, but I dont want the uber heavy bass strings. Has anyone setup a bass vi with a good deal lighter strings... like more like standard baritone strings....

Welcome!! If there's hardly any tension on the springs then replacing them could be a good call. On the one I had it was a little clunky (almost like the spring was brittle or something). You could also check that the bridge posts aren't taped up. A lot of people wrap the posts so it doesn't rock, ...
