M-Box comes with Protools LE. Anyway, I'm sure whatever I get will take some manpower to tweek what folder this goes n .. how to have that talk with this.. what ERROR 8375 : LONG LOOP DRAG (or other nonsense sentence explainations) mean... and rebooting random crashes until (if) it works. When did w...

Well I would like a ProTools interface. I used to have the original MBox. That was awhile ago on a Mac. My computer now is Windows 7 and I've had many nightmares setting up Audio programs on my computers (WHY THE FUCK IS IT LIKE THIS REALLY?). I'm inclined to just stay in the MBox family but have no...

That Unit looks really nice! Similar, it seems to many I've looked at including the Tascam US-122mkii. They all come with Cubase which is cool. My concern with all of them is that I am using Windows 7 and I'm afraid to get caught up in old driver issues or a company that isn't updating their softwar...

Tracking at Home bottom up

So my computer with Protools bit the dust and I was hoping you guys could point me to a thread or device/program to get started again on a new computer. I've used the Protools on the computer with an M-Box for so many years. It would be nice to have something new I suppose that won't set me back. I ...

Fuck! I've been told!

Besides, price difference isn't great enough to not just get what you want.

Well batteries = toxic waste, no matter how you cut it, all the dead ones end up somewhere. I will do battery power if people want it, I just prefer to gently shunt people towards a less twattish power source. As far as overdrives, the Saltstorm is my garagey overdrive design, but I have also made ...

I want a Mike pedal

I need to listen to the samples but I think I'd like the booster. I didn't see overdrives on your site. Do you have a unique overdrive? Like of your own design? I'd love to love it. Question.. your site keeps saying DC power and "loving the planet". AC power is worse than batteries? Just c...

actually why couldn't think be like a volume pedal? then you can use it for fades and mixes between sounds with your feet and you're not constrained to one constant rate. i expect you'd have to run it like a bypass loop with the pedals you want to fade in the loop. or run into two channels .. probl...

Definately, but I don't think it'd get much use in the fuzz/distortion/OD market, apart from the few times you'd wanna use it as a cool effect. I could see it in transitions where the next part is heavier and you have a short build and the effect could build with you. I'd love it in delay builds of...

you're talking about a "tails" effect like they have on delays and reverbs and shit?? I suppose so.. I've seen this in really high end stuff or rack mounts.. but you could use it on the FADE IN as well.. like a downstroke build of distortion or in a delay for a slow crescendo. Seems like ...

Idea for pedals

I think some pedals would be nice with a "Fade in/Fade out" switch that is controlable for how much time to full fade. Like an automatic crossfade of your current signal without and with the pedal.

Pedal giants.. make it happen.

I find that Rats cut volume too. Is that an old Rat or new Rat or am I crazy? Or are your describing more ability to tweek tone to find where you cut through?

The pickup idea is really interesting....

and turn it on at the same time and placed after the pedal in the chain? I thought of this... Why can't I just have the pedal "Level" go higher? Maybe the pedals I play with blow but it never seems the "Level" effect goes high enough. BTW.. why do they make it where your "le...

Fuzz/Distortion Pedal Volume Dips

WHY? WHY? WHY? What can I do to correct this problem? These pedals tend to sound great alone but then you're playing with your loud as shit band and hit it thinking "OH SHIT I'M GOING TO PLANET 11" and suddenly can't hear yourself. Part of it is frequency issues (low tones of fuzz) and a l...

Yeah it's black :) Thanks.

I would like to find a BURNT ORANGE option maybe.

The dude I play with has a red Jag with black tortoise. IF I got a red pickguard we'd be doing Warrent sync'd hair flips next.
