Johnny Ramone's tone on the first 4 albums is out of control. His amp is on the brink of exploding. I love it.

Aint Talkin Bout Love by Van Halen. Flanger. Fun little riff to play too.

Edit: Or was it the phaser? Fuck, I'm drawing a blank. Either way, it's a fun one to play.

The tone on Quickness is one of my all time favies. God, I love that band.

I have the Digitech XP-1000 that I've been thinking of unloading lately. It's the XP-100 Whammy/Wah, XP-200 Modulator, XP-300 Space Station, XP-400 Reverberator all in one box. Awesome pedal, but I just haven't been using it a lot.

Hate's intense, I've seen them live a handful of times and the show usually results in plenty of the "mosh." The guys in the band are totally intimidating but nice dudes. DIY forever, you'll have a good time I'm sure. Yeah, I've talked with Chris on some other forums, seems like a really ...

How is Hate live? I'm sure you see them quite a bit because of them being in Chicago. They're doing a mini tour next month, I believe, and hitting an awesome local DIY spot. I'm pretty excited to see them.

Who else was it? Them, Hate, and Winters in Osaka, right? That show would've been so fucking awesome.

I wish he would've shown more of the fat channel, but otherwise, the demo rules. When he actually does kick over to the new channel...that's like exactly the tone I long for. I'd love to pick this thing up.

I agree about GMD's old demos, but he's finally started miking his amps. Some stuff still sounds a bit odd, but it'd miles and miles away from his old videos.

+1 on the Crunch Box. It's VERY versatile and can go from a nice light crunch to ridiculous crunch and awesome lead tone. Definitely sounds better with the volume higher than the gain though. Sounds like Cro-Mags - Best Wishes in a box.
