That looks like it's gonna be a solid project. Super Sonics are probably my favorite 'weird' guitar. The lower horn reminds me of an Iceman but classier and minus all the pointy bits. Yeah, I wish I had a better photo of the guild. My shitty cell phone camera makes the grain look way flat. I never really liked flashy wood grains (i.e. flamed maple) but this one just works for me I guess.
