And of course, Cat Power Silvertone like this: http://cms.pitchforkmedia.com/images/image/23576.photo.gif I want one of these. Is it a production model or something custom built? Though I prefer to not have 'signature' instruments unless it has some features that are really good/interesting that's ...

I have one of these and it's pretty decent, though it doesn't get much play now I can play my valve amp at home. It can get petty loud as Chrismo said, and it pretty much stays clean too.

I think the spring reverb on it is quite nice too.

Not with the stock speaker. Classic 30 needs 16 ohm, that one's 4.

Though if it's easy to replace, it might be worth a speaker swap, but I can't tell how easy that would be from those pics.

Tonebender

doesn't work... yet http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/poseidal/tonebender.jpg I'm using the schematic from http://homepage.ntlworld.com/s.castledine/greenfuz/solamk2.html though it's been a while since I did any electronic circuits. My prototype on stripboard doesn't seem to work at the moment ...

There is a difference, sounds like you played the same as what I have. the new models have hotter pickups and I also heard they are build different? like more like a solid body than with counter tops :P which is totally against the dano ethos. top guitars. They're thankfully not built differently, ...

I suppose a quick bout with a jigsaw would fix both those problems.
If it's the same construction as their other 2007 reissue it would be semi-hollow so I'd watch out when doing this.

dam nice little board that is. whats you view on the bbe pedals? i quite like the look if them, plus they seem quite resonable price wise. is your 59 dano, the recent ones released last year? dam fine guitars. Yeah, mine is a 2007 one. I ordered it on GAK who never got it in, but I by chance found ...

Wow, that sounds great for £17. I might try to pick one up if they have one in the Dawsons near here.

Dano '59 re-issue / Yamaha Pacifica ->

-> Peavey Classic 30

I also use a Dano trem and chorus and the Behringer DD400 but I don't really use those kind of effects very often.

Okay! hopefully when the dano pots arrive it'll be good times.

It's not often I see them mismatched, especially with a 10:1 ratio like the dano ones though from the schematics on the interwebs.

Personally I would definately go for it at $150. Dano seem only to re-issue models once every few years in limited runs, and their 2007 reissues ($300 rrp new) don't have the same hardware as the older reissues like that one so that's probably the more sought after. I'm a big fan of Danos though; bu...

Pot Resistances

Hi, first post here (I put this in this section because things like pickups are meant to go here, apologies if this is incorrect) Does anyone know the effect of the different potentiometer values on the sound of the guitar? I read most places that higher values will make it brighter, but it’s not ...
