You can get the same thing by using a distortion pedal and rolling back the volume dial on your guitar. Maybe not exactly the same, but close enough...

Ahh I didn't realise it had that function, it's seeming more and more attractive to me all the time to be honest, I'm looking for something to replace the DD-6 that has a little more sampling time, although I may look for something that is sampling only as my Memory Man covers my delay needs really...
