http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn109/kist428/supersonic-2.jpg That looks like the sort of image people post asking why Fender Japan doesn't ship their best guitars overseas. Fantastic looking guitar. Funny you'd say that; this is the guitar that inspired this refinish: A Fender Japan Mustang :-...

Hi, After my blue sparkle Super-Sonic was damaged during a gig and could not be restored in a proper way, I decided to have the guitar refinished in Daphne blue and added some pearl plates to it. Here are the results : http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn109/kist428/IMG_4037.jpg http://i302.photobu...

Refinish on Supersonic

So, my blue sparkle Supersonic got damaged during a gig last week. Since it can't be fixed I've got two options: leave it damaged s it is, or have it refinished.
If you had the chance, what colour would you paint your Supersonic? I was thinking Daphne Blue or Lake Placid Blue.
Any thoughts on this?

Looks like it's got the stock pickups still in it. They're not the best.
I changed mine into SD JB's and SB '59.

That's a fair price if the guitar is in good shape.
I've paid USD 550,- for mine a year ago.

anyway, you won't regret buying this guitar no matter the price, these guitars are GREAT !

I've got a Blue Sparkle SS as well.
Recently it has become my main axe (besides a fender '69 thinline tele and a Gibby SG standard with Phat Cats)
Mines got a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a JB '59 in the neck and is a joy to play !
I play mine over an Orange AD30htc - great sound !
