I tried to be a player but could never learn. (Tone death and no rhythm at all) I have 3 other guitars and 2 amps setting in my music room that gets about 30 minutes of plunking every week. I don’t think of myself as a collector, more of a person that can’t part with anything.

Short scale Stratocaster

I got my (18.5 inch) Short scale Stratocaster at a Motorcycle shop. They had just taken it in on trade for a Harley seat. It looked like something I had never seen before. That was in 1995. The Squire mini wasn't introduced till around 2000. It is a made in Japan Stratocaster, and came with a Fender...

I don't ever remember changing anything on the Jazzmaster except the strings. I liked the setup that it came with and I went along with the old saying that "If it isn't broke, Don't fix it". I have never experienced any strings jumping positions in the bridge or intonation problems that ev...

As I remember the Silvertone guitar was about 4 to 5 inches thick and really dug into my arm. It had a single pickup, black in color with a black neck. It had something like a Dwayne Eddy era guitar shape. It had no truss rod and the neck was beginning to get an arch to it. The string were about 1/3...

The Strat is a Japan made Fender short scale Stratocaster, not a Squire and not a Mini. It came with a Fender gig bag which is different then the Squire Mini gig bag. The serial # is O03461X, so I would put it as a 1993/94. It has a 5 way switch and loads of quality, not like a Squire Mini http://i...
