I haven't building many pedals the last few years, only a couple a year for friends or whatever. I've been picking up some more projects lately though, so I will probably be doing some short runs here and there. But it is hard, I've been doing grad school so time has been more limited.

NGD: sixtyfive mustarng

I don't show up around forums much anymore (just the occasional lurk), but you'll have to forgive me for pippin in for a good old NGD. I've always wanted a vintage fender student guitar since high school back when I used to pine after music master basses on ebay. Well, finally I have one. Got it for...

I intend to keep the guitar stock for now, other than I will order some cheap clearance pickups from GFS (likely with ivory covers which will look better than the black) to replace the bad bridge pickup. In the future I definitely see replacing both the tuners (hopefully with some white button Kluso...

Jay Turser JT-MG2 Bilinda Butcher Style Mustang Review

Greetings all! I don't frequent gear forums regularly anymore, but I thought I'd pop in for a relevant review of a guitar I recently purchased. The specific guitar in question I will be reviewing is the Jay Turser JT-MG2 in Sonic Blue: http://www.jayturser.com/products/electrics/images/AMS-JT-MG2-SB...

Thanks guys. The Akai is great. I posted a video review in the Effects and Accessories subgroup check it out I only have two of these Nady mics. They really aren't bad IMO. I have some friends with Sm57/58 but I don't want to borrow things for extended periods. The Nadys really do well enough for me...

I've only tried painting guitars 2 other times. It looks good in the photo, but on fine inspection it is far from a factory finish... some little specs and bumps and what not... but it's rad enough for me to like it! It'll get nicks and bumps anyways so in time i wont even notice the imperfections g...

I may pick one up. Not that I need a travel guitar specifically, but for what looks like a decently well built guitar for the price I think it would be a good backup, and it's got 24" scale which is neat. Plus, I bet putting a slide nut on it would make it into a decent lap steel!

GFS Xaviere JTT Travel Guitar

So I am refinishing my Mustang right now and I think I might need to wait too long for the clear to cure... but I don't want to be without a git. Saw these little travel guitars on Guitar Fetish and though they might be fun thing to have. 24" scale. Anyone have one? http://www.guitarfetish.com/...
