Just added you as a flickr contact hurb.

Those Yashica cameras look lovelyyyyyyyyy. Would love to try those. I recently got given a bag of film cameras and accessories from my uncle, the best being a mint condition Olympus OM-2n. It's currently getting serviced but should be using it soon, can't wait.

Those slides you found are amazing.
I love looking at old photos, even cooler that you found them yourself.

This one is super.

I'm gonna get and take some photos this weekend hopefully... wanted to go out today but have loads of uni work on which is annoying.

Might take a photo of all my camera stuff later....

That Olympus looks swanky! Look forward to seeing what you do with it. A bag of cameras sounds awesome ahah Next time I am in manchester I will bring my yashicas and we can do a swap for the day

There are loads more slides to upload I should really sort out a new flickr for them probably but they are facinating.

Here we go...

First row l-r : Diana f+, Olympus OM30, Polaroid cam.
2nd l-r: Panasonic Lumix LX3 (digital), really old KODAK II, Olympus 35 RC rangefinder,
3rd l-r: Olympus OM-1, Olympus OM-10, weird old rangefinder not sure what brand...

I also have an Olympus Trip 35 which I would STRONGLY recommend. No batteries, has a light sensor built round the lens.. check em out.
and the FUJI X100 which i took this photo with.

I love the Olympus OM series. The 2 digits models, eg OM-30, are the consumer range, and the single digits e.g OM-1, are the "pro" models. I bought myself an OM30 a year or 2 ago because it was cheap. I love it. Takes great photos. Then I was given an OM-10, OM-1, and the OM-2n all within a week or so! Still haven't got round to using them though... which is bad of me. But as I said the OM2n will be out soon. Film SLRs are a joy to use.

The Olympus 35 RC is cool too. As you can see it's a tiny thing and it comes in a fitted leather case! Rad! It's apparently the smallest rangefinder you can get.

That old kodak thing I got from my Grandma... My grandad used it in the past and I would love to try it again but I don't think they make the right film anymore. I might investigate getting it modded to take medium format film though. The original film was pretty cool though, it had a special back that you could write the date on on through a slot in the back of the camera. You can see that silver metal pen thing on the right of the lens.

Great collection! I think I may have checked out the little 35 actually after finding my rangefinder a little large for inconspicuous street photography. But I decided I really wanted a fully manual one or atleast apature mode to keep me on my toes getting to grips with exposures. But I will probably spring for one or something similar when I have the manual mode down to a fine art!

The 35 RC works fully manually without batteries. The lens is f2.8 - 22.

Shutter speed has 1/500, 1/250, 1/125, 1/60, 1/30, 1/15 or Bulb mode! Its a fully mechanical manual camera.

All this camera talk as made me put some film in it and bring it out today!! Gonna shoot a roll in a day. Fully manual.. no lightmeter. See how it goes.

Wow I'm glad you pointed it out for me again! I think I read it was fully auto and just dismissed it. Seems to be fairly cheap on ebay. Will have to go for one. shame it doesnt have a slightly wider lense as it is about the same as my yashica electro 35(well my inlaws yashica electro 35

)

You may have been looking at the Olympus TRIP 35? A bit confusing with the names trip 35/ 35rc. The trip 35 is a lot more basic but still produces great results!
