yeah I listened to his sound clips.
he's comparing his mod to a stock re-issue WRHB.
All that proves is that his humbuckers sound better than the stock ones, leaving the WRHB factor completely out of the equation.

I kinda got the impression from Curtis Novak's post in that OSG thread that Fender has abandonned legal ownership of the original model.BacchusPaul wrote:Wait, he's describing them as actual Wide Range Humbuckers. Surely Fender are going to stomp all over him for that?
Also, website has two homepages.
That's very surprising considering it's Fender but they might have felt comfortable doing that on account of the sheer unavailability of the components required to make them...
I think Seth Lover might still own most of the legal rights associated to them but that he's just not giving a shit, right now.

Posted this in the other thread, but since that waste of skin Telenator got a link, only fair Lollar does too, with some genuinely good news. This may push me over the edge into doing a '72 thinline.
Tele Deluxes usually look wrong to my eye, ugly big things, but the one in that thread is beautiful.benecol wrote:.

Whoa, nice one Telenator! See, just stick to your guns, keep on truckin', and success will follow.
It's only too bad you're clearly preoccupied with digging up a 2 year old post on the internet to settle a flamewar with a half-page scan from Corksniffer's Monthlies, or else this would be really exciting for you.

During grad school I gave a few classes on social media management for an integrated communications campaign, and there wasn't much discussion about internet forums. Now I wish I had known about Telenator - I would've gladly used him as an example of "how not to" handle your company on the internet.
On another topic, I even though the website clearly says "This is not a fender product", I wonder if there is any violation of FMIC's intellectual property rights by selling the pickups with 'Fender' engraved on them.
