That sounds pretty good, and looks nice and different without being too different.

I actually managed to play one in December and was quite surprised by it. I was really skeptical of the triplebucker, but, it actually sounds good! On top of that, the guitar is really comfortable to play. I was really expecting this thing to be a gimmick, but, it's a real guitar in its own right.

I've been intrigued by this guitar for a few months, is it heavy?

I've considered buying it, but with this guitar, I'd like to test it first, and none of the local Fender shops are bringing it :/ Maybe in October when I go to Florida.

Not really.
It's lighter than my Jag, at least :P As I recall, it's about the weight of the Blacktop Jazzmaster I also tested that day.

To me it sort of looks like the best of both worlds of a mustang and jaguar.

I picked one up and messed with it at GC. Didn't plug it in, but neck felt good and I don't recall anything bad about it. Felt nice and comfortable to play.

first 3 settings are champion 0.38 is one of the nicest clean tones I've heard (is that just the full triplebucker?), not keen on the last 2 settings. also really like the colour of these.

I have to say, when i saw one of these irl i thought it was quite stunning. It is the only Fender i have been tempted to buy new (partly due to the fair price) for many years.

I really liked the Triple bucker in the bridge. 5 different overall pickup options. If you put a better JM pickup it could really improve the tone.

I actually enjoyed the one I played at GC.
