This guitar looks cheap and fragile. And wouldn't the flames go the other direction from all the tonezes?!?!
Steve Vai

I thought that too.
Looks like a late '70s model, rather than the more familiar '60s style Mustangs we're used to.
The back end of that Swinger doesn't look quite right. Though that might be the angle of the pics.

I wonder of these Swing bodies are set for 22.5" scale or 24"?

They're interchangeable, at least on Fender models.

Nah, I think the cut is too shallow for a proper swinger.

To me it looks like the lower half of the back end looks way too small.
Kind of like they but a chunk out a Mustang body.

Still like it personally.
I have an extra allparts jag neck dying to meet one of those bodies.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a swinger bod last night around 4pm. Immediately got a req for what wood and bridge config I wanted. By 5pm I had a UPS tracking number for my body in swamp ash. Shows in route already, picked up at around 6pm from sender. I'm impressed.

I was wondering if the Steve Vai Flame guitar would be considered an offset?
