Help on non-working Morley A/B/Y

Post by riotshield »

Got this from a friend. It appears to be stuck to B channel and its non responsive to pressing the switches, which by the way do not click - are dpdt supposed to click?
Could be something wrong with wiring or the switches are broken? It would be weird to go bust at the same time

Majority of those type of switches will have a "click" to them. Do you have a multimeter to test with?

unfortunately no. I think I will have to short circuit the switches to see if it works this way.
Any other ideas?

Opening up the switches and cleaning the contacts might be worth a shot, most x-wing style switches that I've used like that click. If they're completely shot I know smallbear has replacements if you want to go through the trouble.

It turned out that the switches were broken. A small plastic part was broken inside it so ill need to replace them
