the numbers are upside down compared to the NOS Fender one's aren't they?

I think they are the gibson style.

don't know exactly what you mean by "upside down". the numbers go the other way around? nah, they don't. the "vol" and "tone" labels are turned 1/4 of the way around though. also fender knobs start at 1 not 0.
