The other amusing thing is, if i understand rightly without rereading this whole thread...he's come here to boast about some ACCURATE REPLICA Widerangers made from actual cunife. I DON'T RECALL ANY OF THE EARLIER FIGHTS HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH ACTUAL REPLICAS BUT RATHER YOUR PSEUDO REFITS.

FAIR PLAY, YOU MADE REAL LIFE REPLICAS. HOW EXACTLY IS THIS AN ANSWER FOR US ASKING TO HEAR COMPARISON CLIPS WITH YOUR PREVIOUS PSEUDO PUPS?

I keep thinking this is the sort of thread that might be best locked and left to die a slow death as it drifts down the page, and then of shortscale becoming more frequent in my searches for things where I'm not expecting it to show up. Then I want to edit every post in this thread to feature the word Telenator so anyone researching the company while they considering buying some pickups has a better chance of coming across this.

All the options are expensive. The cheapest route in North America and the one I'm taking is to send my RI Pups to Curtis Novak and have him remake them.
He uses the proper materials, such as Telenator, however his are slightly cheaper. Telenator claims to be the only one doing the cunife, but Curtis also does them now.

Lollars are excellent, but they're 40 bucks more per set. Not a lot, but enough to make me go Novak's remake option. A bonus is my pups will still have teh fender engraving, rather than the Lollar engraving on the Regals. That's just personal preference though.

I bought some of these telenator cunife pickups for my tele and I have got to say I am disappointed. First of all when they got to me 3 months late. They were covered in dog hair. They smelt a little 'musty'...anyway After a good clean I got my PRO TECH! To fit them in my late 60's tele. There were a few problems, for example the neck pickup only had one wire so my PRO TECH! Had to add an extra wire. Then when installing the bridge pickup we discovered there was something not right about it. We realised it didn't even have a magnet in it! We opened it and found a small malnourished crab. We nursed it back to health though, he lives with me now in my sink. I call him crabby.
Anyway when we got the pickups wired in. They made the guitar not only sound really thin with no haunting mids but they also caught fire!!! It was really quite scary and also embarrassing for my PRO TECH!! Then to top it off the headstock of my guitar fell off and my PRO TECH! Died because the pickups contained mercury which poisoned him.

I wrote telenator a email to ask for an explanation and he just sent this back

Yeah fuck you BRO I just wanted your money and I am glad your PRO TECH IS DEAD! I happen to be amazing at pickups DO YOU KNOW how much of my own time and effort I have put into pickups? You don't because you are probably stupid. Anyway I hope you get aids from my pickups as I had them polished with aids before I sent them out!!! hahahahahahahahahahaha
