A) It's either raining or snowing outside here during this time of year
B) Daylight time means I'm at work
C) It's only seen when played indoors anyway

I agree, the color came out perfect.

For all of my agonizing to try to get the finish perfect, after the first show I was looking it over last night and it's already got a nice chip down to the primer outta the back at the edge, and I made some bubble/chips in the clear on the front upper side.

In other words, I've already relic'd it. I'm rough with guitars I suppose.

Just a bump here, I have been playing this guy for a while now. Even after I got a lefty Omar Ibanez, this guitar is still the best sounding and feeling guitar I've ever touched in my life.

Question for you. I have been building almost the same, but a tad different for about a year now. it has been a cut out body waiting for a 24 neck. I would like to route etc. if i get a pickguard, is it as simple as mounting my 25 strat neck for a template, line up the pickguard, and away i go?

the strat neck is all i have for right now. and unknown when i will be able to afford a 24 neck.

If you use the strat neck, it won't intonate correctly with a bridge set for a shortscale neck. Alternatively, you could do what I did on my bronco and set it a few inches back and use your strat neck.
As you can see, the bridge doesn't fit in the pickguard slot for the bridge.

That is awesome. I love seeing live shots of people rocking out.

I wish I had more pics of myself actually playing. No one every seems to have a camera. I am usually the guy snapping photos and so I like almost zero photos of me actually rockin' out.

Your MM is very nice indeed, that's not surprising. What do you think of the ORM?

Personally, I would wait to actually have the neck you want to mount before routing it. When I had cooter make the body for mine, I insisted even on the higher shipping to send him the actual neck I had bought so the pocket would be exact.

I'm iffy about doing the whole "mount a strat neck further into the neck pocket" thing, that would make it a 25.5" scale instead of a proper 24". My advice would be to hold out until you have that neck.

Trust me, I know what it's like to sit on a project for a long time. I planned this guitar 8 years ago, bought the neck 2 years before I had the body done. But it's so worth it in the end.

I recently found a new guitar body/ neck company on eBay from Colorado. The prices are good and they can make almost custom order including left handed for $125. You can even choose the radius and A or B width. let me post the link. If it's legit, I wanted to get a lefty Mustang neck for a Super-Sonic build. They sell lots of guitar bodies as well. Link for 24" scale neck.

I have never seen Warmoth necks go that cheap. The normal Allparts ones you can get for $150. If they could do $125 for a Lefty Mustang neck, they will sell a ton of those.

I have been on their website for a look around before seen a variety of prices depending on what options you choose. $157 is a good price for sure.

I can't get a lefty 24" neck for less that $200. I think I might go with a B width neck time, though I wish there was some in between the two, B is just a tad big and A is a tad small. I still vastly prefer the A that I have on that MM.

Is the difference between A and B necks the width of the Nut? Does that have anything to do with the neck profile?

My Mullestang and Musicmaster are both B necks, but the MM is way chunkier than the Mustang neck. I think my Comp RI Stang is an A Width.
