Congrats on your new Musicmaster.
The slot head tuners are the way to go.
I have a 78 that is kind of red wine colored and it is bone stock except for a brass nut.
Compensated saddles may be in its future though.

Now on mine I can see the grain through the finish, Is yours like this also?

Congrats on the Musicmaster. I have one as well and they are very cool guitars. Musicmasters are one of the few guitars I think Black on black actually works on. Take Robroe's advice and put a new cover on the pickup and it will be awesome.

Thanks! Ive tried with a black cover, but it doesnt fit. I thinks its because the SD pickup has uneven polepieces...
I will have to live with it as it is :wink:

Sounds like it's the same finish. Weighs a ton but the neck is great ...
