The shop stand would be way nice but a bit too pricey for me atm.

My garage is very small, so this will be awesome for me. I just go my birthday money and I should be able to afford the stand. You can also mount it to a concrete block if you don't want to permanently attach it to the floor. I need to invest into some really good guitar tools to take my builds to the next level.

I really dig that Free hand holder. Have been lusting for one for months now. It would be perfect for refinishing the three guitars that I have stripped and awaiting paint.

I still use my Parks bike repair stand (which is covered with paint splatters). The idea was that I could also use it to tune my bike, like that would ever happen. But I have gotten so much use out of it. It's been worth it.

I just started wondering about a guitar stand the other day when I was using my Colt router and I clipped the side of the table and the pointy pits went flying. I still haven't found it yet, but it could have killed me fairly quickly if I did it just right. I had been being so careful but then got impatient when making templates. Fucking hell. The table is too low, covered in crap, and hard to clamp to. I don't plan on making many bodies, but I would like to do it safely. I could just about make that stand using my bike stand and plank. It would also be nice to have a lazy susan bearing in it to spin around.

I ordered the shopstand and the angle vise.

I will get the free stand later when I have more funds.

I will post some pics when it arrives. I will need to build a guitar work station to clamp into it.
