2001 Toronado to be precise.. found it on CL in the Virgin Islands, right next door. Just wondering how reasonable the price is.
Seller wants $300. And a round trip plane ticket for me to test it out is gonna be about $50... so $350 all in.

Seller just texted.. it's a Nitro refin, originally in black poly.

That is lovely. Really nice refin. I'd buy it for $300.

Original Toronados usually list $500-$650 range. $300 in a sexy color. Hit that.

Hell yes, I would buy that in a second for $300 and I definitely don't need more guitars nor am I in the market for a Toronado.
That's like the coolest color I've seen a fender type guitar in ever.

shipping question asked... and now I wait for an answer. A plane ticket for wednesday is $131, quite a bit more than I estimated and much more than what I usually pay. So shipping's the only way I can get this gitfiddle without my wallet bitchslapping me.
Unless my tax refund magically comes in tomorrow, in which case I'll tell the seller to meet me at the airport with guitar in hand.

That looks really nice! Taking a flight just to get it seems like a hassle, hopefully he'd be willing to ship it!

Still waiting to hear if he'll ship. Flying out is no longer an option, since work has informed me I have to go to Colombia tomorrow morning for some last minute meetings.
I have pilot friends though... if any of them are gonna overnight in St. Thomas, I'll see if they'd be willing to pick it up for me.
Not getting this guitar is no longer an option. I sold another to clear a space for it in my rack.

That is a good deal.
You don't see these around too often.
About 8 years ago I played one in a GC and it was sweet but i think it was orange or some color that did not appeal.

Looks a good deal. I had one of these in white and a GT model, great guitars.

Fantastic deal...yeah, do the shipping if you can. What a beautiful axe. Can't wait to hear you gush about how it plays.
...just saw a neckless Toronado on eBay for $314 USD.
