...so... i either have really really bad bad taste in guitars and money to throw away,
or fuck whatever opinions there are on this and play it 5 hours non stop after work like i just did today.

seriously, near 5 hrs, is it my setup, is it my total lack of taste in guitar sounds, whatever the fuck it is, it isn't teh kurdtz, it's just a goddamn piece of wood metal, plastic and fake relic'ing that i think i just made a good decision on.

as said before, and not trying to 'justify' my decision, i do what i want etc etc, you know:

lefty
bound neck
scumbuckers

at first those three is what got me interested. oh and the shortscale part, shortscale.org. pfhaha.

and i haven't lusted after a guitar or any type of gear in over a year mind you.

so after today, the three knobs, and the roller slider on top they do the same thing yeah, i like what they do, i like the controls, there, i do.
i've been going from ventures type surf sounds to fu manchu fuzz on top of gain on top fuzz on top of etc.
same with the cleans, dark muffled cleans, glassy sparkley clangy jangly goodness. i like the sonic spectrum of this thing.
as my local guitar shop did not have dean markley 11's in stock (and no spare) i'll wait until wednesday to put on some 11's.
or just stick with the 10's anyway, i tuned it to C tuning and more floppy than i'm used to but not impossible.

i was going to make a better 'review' in days to come but this is just a hasty one.

anyway, work tomorrow, sleep, nao.

//no sleep.

so the put 11's on it or what ? i think they did. no way i could play this long in c tuning and manage with 10's..must be 11's. what does that tell you about me, i can't even tell string gauge ? right, idon'tgiveafuck.
11's fo sho'.
hmmmm...

i'll make a thread today or thursday, defo pics and audio, wether i can do the audio with video though..i think i'll slap a shure sm58 on that behringer audio interface and try and record the orange through bass cab tonight, should be ok but not too fancy/accurate. just some audio samples. i'll do that and also a direct in. my pedalboard needs work really, it's a fucking mess, just simple guitar+ amp and maybe a few sounds of the famulus and UO..;can you believe i haven't run it through the tgd yet !! fail.

also haven't changed anything to this guitar yet, not even the strings, guessing they are 11's anyway, too lazy to put on deans. just about to change the strap buttons for the usual dunlops straplocks. been meaning to take it apart to check the guts, see what the wobbly neck pickups is about (i presume it's mean that way ?) whatever, it sounds good so not making any big changes. it will probably get some cig butt burns too quick but hey.

oh and the book that came with it is just shameless fender promo wankery. nothing really interesting in there, they should've just put a flanel shirt in there or some blue or parpll hairdye.

This may be asking a lot, but I've seemingly exhausted all avenues for finding a wiring schematic, so if anybody here has one and would be kind enough (or bored/curious enough) to make one, it would be greatly appreciated. Or even just taking it apart and snapping a few photos, that in itself would be a great help. It looks as though the rhythm circuit on the one I'm putting back to stock is pretty much stock, but the pickups/main control plate are WAAAAAY out of whack. Thanks, thanks thanks!?!?!?!
