This does not appear to be the same competition red lefty currently shown on competition mustang blog spot. however it does have the same incorrect black and gold decal just like the competition red lefty show on blog spot. I have never seen a competition red lefty with the white decal. competition red!!!

am I wrong or this an exception?
After about 1968 they did, but I think in this case it was borderline, and seeing as though they put an older neck on it it, maybe they went with a leftover decal too.
I put a bid on it in the final 10 seconds, but wasn't willing to go any higher than $2100. I don't think it's worth more than that, that's about what I paid for my '67 in equally as good of shape. I think of all the comp. stangs, red is the least desired.
^^^They'll never get that for it. It's been for sale at that price for over a year. Mahogany body aside, it's still just a Mustang. Not worth anything close to $4400. I think $2200 is about the ceiling on a lefty Mustang. I've never seen them get more than that, unless it's teh kurdtz blue comp stang.
