Fender Pro reverbs & bassman 10

Post by lorez »

Ive been looking at the silverface pro reverbs and wondered if anyone had any thoughts about them? Mainly the 40 watt ones.

Also any thoughts on the bassman 10s? I see they have master volume so does that make difference to the other non master volume ones?

A buddy of mine had a later Silverface Pro Reverb, and it complemented my early Silverface Vibrosonic Reverb well. I'd you can find it at a good price, my vote is to go for it.

My dad owns a Pro Reverb from the 60's or so. Easily my favorite amp of his. It is pretty heavy though.

afair they are the same size and nearly as heavy as a Twin, but more expensive because of their smaller power rating. so maybe also consider a Twin.
