I have solid covers on my Ibanez Artcore to hide the really ugly P-rails. I quite like them.

Not sure if just Travis Bean related and you're aware of it already but he has the style the Electrical is based on. I love that style of Bean but could probably never get one due to the price they are now and it being teh Albiniz.

It could be, it is certainly very loud. I'm not sure how to tell other than maybe checking the resistance.
