For example, I noted in the Thinline Jaguar video that he plays pretty much everything with the tone rolled back; not really playing the Jag's jangle, but making it more widely appealing to more players.
That said, this Blacktop Baritone seems to sound as good as I'd hoped, seeing the releases about it in the past couple months. I'd love to get one; and being in the Blacktop series means it's nicely affordable.
