What's the fretboard radius of a 90's Mustang (65RI) ?

The original shortscale guitars; Mustangs, Duo-Sonics, Musicmasters, Jaguars, Broncos, Jag-stang, Jagmaster, Super-Sonic, Cyclone, and Toronados.

anyways fretboard radius is 7.25 on all mustangs except the pawnshop one and weird special models from japan.

the new squier ones are going to have the bigger radius and it PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF.

thats current model 65RI.

did you not read my post?

its got the big gap between the pickguard and the control plate. and its got F tuners.
I did read your post (a couple of times actually) and I wondered if I was missing something somewhere. The guy claims that the guitar is from 1995 or 1996 based on its serial number.

Here's the CL posting: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/msg/2972203686.html

So, either he is mis-representing this guitar, or he was tricked by the guy he allegedly bought it from, or there were guitars from Japan in the mid-1990's that had the gap. A Fender Mustang from the 1990's is very appealing to me. A 65RI from last year posing as a 10-15 year old guitar is not.

What's going on here?

Can someone confirm what the fretboard radius on these guitars is? I'm hoping for 7.25" since I already have a Jaguar CP Special HH with a 9.5" radius.

THATS NOT A MG65 or a MG69, its actually the "rarer" MG66, probably early to mid 2000's - the gold headstock decal is the giveaway. This is the first incarnation of what later became the MG65 VSP or more acurate mustang reissues. whoever bought it for $695 got the bargain of the year.

THE OTHER MAJOR FEATURE IS, THOSE PARTICULAR MG66s ARE SLAB BODY, BUT A SLAB BODY WITH MG69 BEVELS on teh body edges.

THE MG65 that is availble now IS slab body but with much more pronounced vintage body bevels, same as MG69-BECK
