Fender's creative team of for another hard day at the office.

(although the pink one, with a scrachplate, could have a certain Prince-like charm)

Look interesting. Fender can't win really. Everyone bitched when they spent years just releasing x thousand Strat and Tele variants. They've spent the last few years making some different stuff and everyone still bitches :)

Then indeed, more

All listed at £611.00 -more than double my usual guitar budget limits.

Quote Andertons:
Next up is the Fender Pawnshop Mustang Special which features wide-range humbuckers and enough switching options to drop your jaw: 15 different tones should be more than enough to cover a whole wealth of styles from pop to indie to rock, blues, country, rnb and more!

That pink one looks fuggin' awful. It's like they've gone to a 'niche fender' focus group and come away with "THEY LIKE PASTELS! AND JAZZMASTER TREMS! LET'S GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT, BUT WITH A BODY THAT LOOKS LIKE A UTERUS!

Anyone worked out what the difference between the "new" Mustang Specials and the ones they released last year are? They've added a sunburst option but Andertons is listing the LPB and CAR ones as different (cheaper) models compared to the previous ones.

andersunz wrote:The Fender Pawnshop Offset Special is like the love child of a Strat and a 69 Thinline Telecaster, but because a Thinline Strat would be a little bit too easy Fender also chucked in a Jaguar style tremolo and p90s! This one is going to bite just as hard as its bark and that is definitely a good thing!

They seem to list sunburst as a more expensive option across the range these days, it's usually an extra £30-40 or so.

That Jaguarillo isn't completely awful. It has a certain... er, pawn shop charm. Take that Tiesco-necked Jazzmaster spunkbucket that was posted recently. The Jaguarillo (I've typed it twice and it still sounds fucking stupid) has the look but it probably actually plays like a real guitar. What annoys me, though, is that I can't help imagining it with a triplebucker and Jazzmaster single-coil and thinking that the Marauder should totally have had a Jaguar trem. So it's disappointing for that reason for me, but otherwise it really doesn't offend me at all. I'd totally play one if somebody threw one into my face.

That pink piece of shit can burn in an Al Queda-orchestrated thermonuclear terrorist attack, detonated at the site of a low-rent porno in which fifteen Mexicans are jerking their slightly limp boners over it. What the fuck were they thinking.

Different bridge by first looks.
