i voted option A for several reasons, in specific if you are going for a newer model, not anything 90's.
I love Jazzmasters but they make me look super tiny and they cost as much as a nice used car.

if you got around 900 bucks you could buy a squier jazzmaster, mustang, and jaguar when they come out.

Or for $750-800 if you wait 2 months for the first used ones to pop up. That's how I got my Cyclone for cheap.

Cheers man, went with the LPB comp. The sonic blue was a bit too blue, I prefer it when it's faded to almost white, and FR should only be used on Strats in my opinion
