That Jag "on the way" is one of those anniversary editions from the 90s with gold hardware no? I've always liked those. Nice Jag-stang too

Thanks!

Yup! It is one of the limited edition Jaguars from Japan. I guess they were the testers that caused the AVRI's to come out? I read that Fender released that set in America to see how Jaguars and Jazzmasters would sell in the US. I am pretty excited about seeing it. It sounds like there were only 330 Jazzys and 330 Jags done like this in that 1994 run.

That Jag-Stang is one of the guitars I have had longest. I got it while in college. Thinking about changing pickups in it or maybe pots. I kind of want to drop in some 1meg pots. It has a red/red lace in the bridge and a blue in the neck. I also added a kill switch between the knobs. The upper switch works as a pickup selector and the lower switch splits the humbucker. One of my favorite necks of my guitars. :)

Wow. It's so weird to see it that way.

Did you buy it that way or did you do the mutilating to the body?

oh, it only takes a few minutes to dick up a guitar . . . but no, I sure as hell didn't get it that way. The neck was original. I ended up buy a new a body for it. It was poo-brown. I put a black pickguard and white pup covers on it. Someone on SS still has it.
