That's lovely news. Not sickening, just downright heart(string)warming.

Edit: however, that post ^ is a bit poncy, so I'll add a FUCK U for balance.

Fun MBM fact. While MBM pedals has been running for four years now, with me doing lots of decal action, Mike and I have only met in the flesh twice, both of which were socially rather than business (if you know what I'm saying - all pleasure rather than business). Pointed this out to Mike last week - we're like a wonder of the modern age, doing business by email, text and (mainly) PMs on a nerdy messageboard.

Pointed the same fact out to my wife and sister-in-law over the weekend, and they said "Oh, you're just like Elton John and Bernie Taupin."

I think this makes Mike Elton John.

You bet your arse it does!

I didn't realise they worked remotely, that's pretty interesting. Did you get any news about whether you're free that first weekend in June (2nd/3rd) for us to pop across. Amy is dead keen to see Stroud after she read it was like an alternative paradise in the Guardian.

That's right kids, MBM pedals are taking it to the next level - we're gonna have a CHAT about probably not pedals. Though we probably should talk about pedals a bit, I want to sort out something that means I can renumerate you more for all teh Custom Graphics work.

been reading back through this to catch up with whats happening in MBM land. it's fucking mint that you've gone from those first saltboosters to this level. proud to have supported MBM through ordering some top stuff from you.

might have an order for you when it's a little quieter. thinking of getting something akin to a shur koko boost.

I love the Dual Muff pedal. I am amazed how much Mike can cram into one tiny box.

Sorry to piss on your chips but Mick doesn't play on the album. That would be Jonny X/Pete Gofton of Kenickie fame. He'll play on the next one (they're doing it with Bernard Butler, fact fans!) However has toured all over using that pedal. You can hear me and him using it on his other project called Soundtracks for a B-Movie (we're currently in the process of recording the second album)

I orginally showed him the dual drive I got from Noirie (the one Star Wars themed one) and he was massively impressed. Same with James from Let's Buy Happiness, think you made him something a while back.

Nice to see the other guys in Frankie & the Heartstrings are embracing pedals as they seem to be a bit clueless when it comes to all things gear!!!

Glad to see things are going well for you!

So I have you to thank Simon, cheers indeed. Maybe when he mentioned the records he meant the new stuff.

It's funny you mention Pete, I chat to him a lot on twitter! And yup I built James a Fender Blender as I recall. Small World!

I'll definitely check out your project too, where is best to hear it?

Yeah, he meant nthe new album, if it was recently.

No problem at all - it's all about sewing the seeds! I've seen a few local bands that seem to be hearing about your stuff. Another mate of mine called Rob ordered something from you too.

You need to listen to James' band, they're pretty mint, I think they'll go on to big things as they've already started building up a good head of steam. The drummer's Dad is Si King from the Hairy Bikers! Me & James were both singing your praises when we were out a few weeks ago, silly drunk but praise all the same!!

I think some of the Soundtracks stuff is on Soundcloud. I'm not sure what's up at the moment but there might be a few snippets from the new album. I'd try Myspace but I don't think that's been updated in about 2 years!!! It's hard to build up any momentum with recording as Mick is always super busy producing other bands and his commitments with F&TH's We'll get it finished this year hopefully!
