It's actually one of the few hBs I like and actually sound good coil split.

They're not horrific but I couldn't get a sound I really liked out of them when demo-ing.

I really like the new Sunburst color on these guitars. I would definitely add the toronado or Squier Musicmaster bridge if I end up picking one up.

What's your impression / description of the necks on them?

And what was it about the pickups that you didn't care for? I know they're not real CuNiFe WRHB, and I wish they were, but I'd probably have the pups modded anyway.
