Interesting Graphic Fuzz clone
Not exactly the sort of pedal I'd have expected to find a clone of. At half the price I'd jump at it, BUT! Two things bug me, firstly the noise gate; I don't like noise gates. It looks like it might just be some dodgy Chinese translation error though, as the pedal says "high cut". So not really a noise gate. Secondly, the 40V DC power supply (LOLWAT). Anyway, effects geeks take a look and tell me whether you think it's worth it or not:

I'd just buy the real thing, to be honest. I'd put money on that having shitty bypass like some of the big Behringers, the plastic jacks don't fill me with confidence, plusssss the relative resale value wouldn't be half of the EHX. Plus you could actually get the EHX fixed relatively easy, should it need it.
If only I knew how to isolate freuqencies....ekwatts wrote:How about a Dwarfcraft bass version of the Graphic Fuzz then? I'd buy that. Totes.
Actually, how hard is it to stick sliders in a pedal? I take it it wouldn't be as simple as just drilling the enclosure.
Thats something I've been thinking about, actually. COnsider it in the realm of possible...
High quality, low popularity Ecstatic Fury
split the signal six ways (prolly boost them), middle four get band-pass filters (a hi- and lo-pass filter together isolating a specific range), the two on the bottom and top just get lo- and hi-pass filters respectively. I think think that's how you'd do it yeah?aen wrote:If only I knew how to isolate freuqencies....ekwatts wrote:How about a Dwarfcraft bass version of the Graphic Fuzz then? I'd buy that. Totes.
