MIM Cyclone on SF CL

Post by Dokterrock »

Not mine, but a good price. I've been seeing several of these around that are in varying states of getting the shit beat out of them. Somebody should rescue this before it gets any worse.

Tempting, but is this guitar really superior to a Squier? If it was a Cyclone II we'd prolly be fighting over it.

Never played the Squier version, but my bandmate has an identical MIM in good condition and it's a pretty nice guitar - the neck is indeed the best part about it (nicer than my Cyclone II), but the pickups are a little weak for my taste. That can be remedied, though.

MaMo plays a Cyclone live. Nice guitar if you can find one for cheap. Pretty well put together.

Damn it. Sounds like a great guitar at a great price. Going to hold off though ... as much as I want to buy guitars it's not really the best time.

I would be concerned about the huge chip at the arm contours edge. Looks like it might grab onto your flesh and take a piece with it! Could be uncomfortable in the least.
