New here! Kurt Cobain Jag to show off!!

Post by Bubba po »

Hi, I'm Bubba from the U.K. :) Actually I haven't bought a Cobain Jag, but I did buy a Fender Japan Jaguar a couple of months ago which I absolutely love. :D I was going to buy a Classic Player at first but went back on the deal when the guitar I ordered was unplayable! The nut wasn't cut (at all! ), I was a bit unsure about the tune-o-matic bridge, and I just didn't want a MIM guitar; I hadn't realised they were Mexican when I first ordered one.

So far I've had a full setup, had the pickups wax-dipped and I've installed a Mustang bridge which I think is the upgrade of choice. Very impressed with that. :)

Anyhow, this is my geetar:

And this is the KC Jag I was on about in the thread title!

I made it a few weeks ago, 'cause I was really, really impressed with the tribute model
in the flesh although I couldn't justify buying one and I'm a single-coil bloke anyway. :)

Here it is flipped, for you right-handed folks. :D

Cheers for looking. :)

Well Ho, Dave. :D

Are you Big Dave, Little Dave, Medium Dave or Famous Dave off of Home recording forum? :D

Or none of the above?

That's got to be the smallest Jag I've ever seen.

It's a traditional name in the Po family. Passed down from mother to son. :D

Was there a "Let There Be Dave" moment, or did you evolve from a soup of Pre-Dave organic molecules? :)

Thanks. :) The serial number and MIJ decal on the neck seems to say that it's a '94, but it's so pristine I don't think it can be. I think that they've gone back to MIJ decals and they've repeated the "T+ 6 digits" serial number for some fucking stupid, confusing reason.
