Anyone got a spare Mustang pickguard?

Post by Noisy Cat »

I'm after a white pearloid pickguard for my CIJ Classic Series '65 Mustang but can't find one anywhere (at least not for an extortionate price).

I want it to replace the stock tortoiseshell guard on my Olympic White 'stang.

White pearloid comes as stock on Dakota Red & Daphne Blue models - has anyone removed theirs and has it lying around?

I'd be willing to pay a fair price, or maybe swap for my tort.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks - but no.

The listing doesn't offer international shipping and the seller has set it so questions can't be sent.

Thanks a lot, but...

$42.74 for the pickguard
+ $42.00 for international shipping

= fuck that right off!

Sorry

Sorry, I didn't realize that's the cost, yeah, pricey, damn

On the other hand , I'm surprised you don't have more sources over in England , when ever I'm on the web looking at other jags and mustangs , YouTube or googlE, I see that most of the cool guitars, and originals are in England /uk, like vintage B$B jags and jazzmaster, and vintage mustangs, I guess the new replacement parts are harder to find.

I'm having a hard time believing that the difference is anything more than just hole placement.

I still have the pearloid guard from my 69RI but I'm off to Barcelona for the Primavera Sound festival and won't be back for 2 weeks.

I bet anything the control plate area will be a disaster using the wrong guard for the wrong Stang.

Hello, are you back yet?

And did you mean 65RI or 69RI? Mine's a 65.
