So, there's plenty of people here with late 70's Musicmasters. Mine needs a new nut cut, and I'm away from the guitar for a week at least. Does anyone here mind measuring theirs for me?
If it helps, mine's a 78 MM.

41.2 mm or 1.622 inches (1 5/8"):
Of course this applies to a B width nut, although I don't know if the Musicmaster was offered in other widths by 1978.

That's actually a good question, were late 70s Musicmasters only available in B width?
