Musicmaster nut

Post by mkt3000 »

So, there's plenty of people here with late 70's Musicmasters. Mine needs a new nut cut, and I'm away from the guitar for a week at least. Does anyone here mind measuring theirs for me?

If it helps, mine's a 78 MM.

Thanks!

I am a grower, not a shower. Do you prefer mm or inches?

41.2 mm or 1.622 inches (1 5/8"):

Of course this applies to a B width nut, although I don't know if the Musicmaster was offered in other widths by 1978.

That's actually a good question, were late 70s Musicmasters only available in B width?
