Just came in today and I am pretty psyched. It is a Fender 50th Anniversary Jag-Stang as far as electronics and neck go, but it has a black Warmoth body, Texas Special neck and JB humbucker in the bridge. Looks pretty sick. I need to do a little wire work on it and I want to have 1meg pots in it. Should be ready to rock pretty quick. It is hard tail modded too so that is cool. I also need to order some strap locks for her and I am set. Pictures below.
That's what I thought too. I had originally thought I would refinish it some random metallic color and then I opened the shipping box and was wowed. All black looks pretty hot.

I put contours on my black JS, kind of regretted it but everytime i gig the Tele i am reminded it was a good idea.
I have my Fiesta for my slab version. The first time I tried a Warmoth body I thought "These curves make the body feel good to hold and play!" I have wanted to get one again since then.

Love it in black. I didn't think I would either. Funny how things work out.

Traded for it on OSG.

Dang I can't see it at work. Filter is blocking it. I will have to check when I get home.
Did some work today. Neck was a little too snug in the pocket for my taste so I lightly sanded the pocket so it fit a little better. Probably because Warmoth does US speck pockets and Jag-Stang necks are the little wider Japanese variety. I conditioned the fretboard. Beautiful. Neck is back on now, but I took some pictures.
Thanks! I hate waiting on parts. I need at least the switch to arrive to do some wire work. Pots would be nice to have here to wire too. The waiting is the hardest part....
