I'm after a small amount (about 5x10") of pretty thin flexible wood to veneer the front and back of a 3-a-side headstock. Can any one in the UK point me to a cheap option to getting my hands on this? I'm unsure of the exact wood type but a colour somewhere between maple and mahogony would be the right ballpark. Any pro-tips for getting small amounts rather than having to buy a large sheet?
I also don't want any self-sticking or iron on sheets - just very thin wood!

phone your local timber merchant and see what they say. they'll at least point you in the right direction, unless they're a shower of arseholes, which timber merchants often are.
