I read a while back an article about making guitar bodies from white pine .. searching ... apparently the CV 50 Tele is pine with a heavy lacquer coat?

If I had a Brian May Guild, I'd see if it is possible to cause a rip in the time-space-continuum by playing "Hair Like Brian May Blues" by Half Man Half Biscuit on it.
