Aen Jams with famous dudes.

Kind of. Mostly I watch.

Way back in January I had the fortune of spending a day in the studio with Juan Alderete (of The Mars Volta) and Jonathan Hischke (Dot Hacker) and my old pal Fredo. Here are a few clips!

(super bonus... you get to see my try to play drums a couple times)

Ugh, I've been after a cool Roland G77 like that for so long.

The G707 guitars seem to pop up locally, from time to time but the basses are like pope shit rare.

Well a lot of that might have been that TGD, to be fair. But yeah, both that pedal and synth are like a match made in Dario Argento heaven.

Fantastic videos, all around, by the way!

Oh, hells yeah. They both were already, though. Met 'em the year before, and they spent about half an hour in my little patch of floor at NAMM. Juan has like 3 versions of the Eau Claire Thunder, (one on "extra-long" loan to Jonathan) and Mr. Hischke has a Great Destroyer.
